Good Project
A basic kit made to modify, after opening the kit to inspect, there was some molding flash and several of the parts required straighten. All the parts were accounted for and the directions were clear and easy to follow, but this project required some skill to construct. All the sidewalls, doors/windows, and roof required cutting to fit. Also took some time and skill to line-up and fit perfectly due to the thin flexible walls and cut edges. Good kit for the price and ability to modify; I would recommend this kit for any layout.
Disappointed kitbash model experience
This kit is certainly a kitbash model. Many cuttings, with poor instructions, few pictures and very timely. This kit should be something you really need on your layout. When I read about the kit, I thought that it was a kit that the manufacturer had made from a person's experience of kit-bashing but it would go together like any other plastic kit I had experienced. This Kit leaves much to be desired and I believe you will question your purchase as I have.
A lot of Manual cutting
This kit makes for a nice engine house when cutting just the lines but to carve spots for he garage door inserts and such it makes it a little more challenging with no lines available.
