This is the answer to all your lighting projects where even the smallest nano LED is too big. Simply drill the appropriate sized hole in the bulb of a 2 mm or 3 mm LED and insert the end of this strand, securing with superglue. Now the other end of the strand becomes a micro-miniature light to be placed anywhere on your model.
Fiber optics review
This works perfectly for lighting panels and consoles on scifi models. Just drill a hole, epoxy the fiber in place, with a bit sticking out. Then cut it off flush and you've got it.
