Excellent People Bashing Material
I'm modeling a 7.5 gauge (1:8) live steam club in N-scale (1:160) required some G scale (1:20) club members playing with their steam locomotives. My needs didn't quite match the finished railroad figures available, and I didn't want a bunch of nudes to cloth with modeler's putty, so I kit bashed some of these figures. The melting point and flaming point are close so a lighter flame alone is not adequate alone to reposition figures. But cutting substantial wedges out at key joints with a band saw gave narrow enough plastic connections that I was able to form with careful flame and putty over. The results were what I wanted. The white figures painted nicely with Testor's flat military paints and colored markers.
