Pretty in pink
By: jeremymoza
The Thunderbird is a step back into yesteryear with a nice mix of style and performance. This kit does a very good representation of the nostalgic ride from days past. All parts fit well with very little flash removal required. The removable hard top is a nice touch to be able to get a good look inside the vehicle when removed. I was particularly happy to see the whitewalls were not just decals applied to the tires, but inserts into the the tires, those work so much better. Nice detailing on the decals, though not many required for this build. Overall a very enjoyable kit without issue
Classy

I usually let my wife choose the color to paint most models. I was thinking red/white of course, but she said it has to be pink. I'm glad I went with pink... very elegant. After all, I built this one for her. This was a very nice model to build with very little issues, only a couple that were strictly my fault. I highly recommend this model for anyone wanting to add another classic to their collection.
Nice Kit
Enjoyed building this kit but I was a bit disappointed in the lack of detailing for a Level 4 kit. It was more like a Level 2. All in all I was quite happy with the final result. Very little flash and the chrome parts were clean for the most part. I was a bit taken back at first as this was obviously a “repack†with many loose parts, open bags and the box was crudely taped.
An older kit, but still worth building.

Another tried and true older Monogram 1/24 scale tooling with a lower parts count. The parts fit is mostly pretty good, with decent molded in details. This is a dedicated box art kit with very minimal extra parts, and a smaller decal sheet as to be expected. Overall it is a nice, fun build that looks the part and I do recommend this kit if you're feeling that 50's vibe.
t bird fun car kit

Thunderbird right out of America graffiti, you look at the fish car, and of the song she will have fun till her daddy takes her t-bird away, it was a fun kit build, not a hard kit to build, everything fit nice, not a lot of flash on the parts look nice when fished i used tamiya pants and gule on this kit
Take your time
Went together with very little warping and molding flash. Build sub assemblies first, make sure glue is dry before painting. Have fun building.
Easy to follow kit

I really loved the entire kit and the instructions were easy to follow. However, the car was still challenging enough to not be boring.
