High Quality Kit
This kit is a pleasure to assemble. The molded parts contain no flash, all the parts fit the way they should, and the kit contains the right number of parts to make for a relaxing, but detailed build. Although not a good kit for a beginner, the instructions are first rate (with one exception as noted below) and shows you exactly how the parts should be assembled. However, there is one part of the instructions that should be changed. Specifically, the instructions want you to glue the cowl (the part that holds the windshield wipers) to the dashboard. The instructions are not very clear as to exactly where the part needs to be glued. I found it much easier to glue the cowl to the body prior to painting. The dash then just slides over the cowl when the interior tub in mounted to the body. The decals are plentiful and go on without a fuss. Overall, a home run kit by Revell.
Revell is at it's finest in this level 4 kit
This is my 3rd Revell C-8 Corvette kit. This kit, with over 140 parts was just as much fun as well as challenging as the first. Revell is in my opinion, one of the best if not THE best at model cars. The detail and the fit of the parts is great. I enjoyed every minute building the kit. One hiccup I caused myself. The clear plastic taillights are small and when painting, I messed them up, painted and repainted them several times and finally had to contact Revell's Customer Service. They sent me replacements and I was able to complete the build. The color illustrated instructions are easy to read and will lead to a great model to display. I've submitted pictures of the finished model.
