A good mojo build
By: GMBregoli
This is a pretty decent kit overall with enough details in the engine and drive train
to be built into a pretty good looking model.
The molds are okay but seem to have been a little overheated in production.
The floor section was warped, causing one of the front wheels
to not contact the ground without fixing. The biggest problem this kit has is it's windows.
The front window doesn't fit well at all. Seems to be to small to seat into the window frame.
And the back window to big.
The instruction sheet is lacking in lots of details,
errors in some of the color callouts and also the decal instructions were very poor.
The decal quality is pretty good though.
Overall the kit is good and can be a quick weekend build or just a good mojo build for the casual modeler.
Good build, hard decals

The model itself was well constructed, fairly easy to build. The strips are not the greatest fit and are extremely hard to put on, but when done right look amazing. I mixed 4 different colors to get magenta color interior. To get the interior color; start with flat steel add flat red, flat sea blue and grape pearl until you get desired color. This will produce the original color it calls for. Not rated excellent because of the decals.
trouble free build
No molding flash very little twisting, windows just fit, be careful installing they keep falling out very loose fit, good detail on engine, OK detail on interior. Have to take your time installing decal's a lot of stripe's. Comes with red lined wheel's and black walled tires. I built it just like on the box. I will get another to just build stock.
Awesome kit!

Finally got around tho building this after having it for a year. Very well designed! Molded very nicely. It fits together great. The decal sheet is very extensive. The only issue I can see is the windows are a tad thin a flimsy. Other than that, the kit builds up into a very nice looking car when finished. I was so impressed, I bought several more.
Fantastic kit!
This kit was was a great build from step one. All parts fit like a glove with very little to no flash. As another reviewer stated the windshield and back glass seem thin and flimsy. I strayed from the directions and glued front and rear facias to the body before paint and had no issues mating the chassis to the body upon final assembly.
This is an excellent kit.

The Revell Hurst/Olds is an excellent kit with great molded details, very little flash, and excellent parts fit. The decals can be a little tricky, especially around the front end, so lots of patience is required there. Overall, this builds into a great looking replica of one of the best looking cars of the 80's.
Fun build until you get to the decals
Good quality kit, very little flash, good fit. Builds nice until my least favorite part of any build, the decals. Micro-sol, micro-set, tweezers (×2), new exacto blade, and ALL of my patience were required to get the decals right, but in the end it looks good.
Good detail! Great kit!

This is a really good kit. No flashing and great parts. Its Very similar to the past 1/24 scale buuck grand national, gnx, and chevy monte carlo. The rims come with a red stripe too!
Amazing kit with good details
I bought this, expecting just a boring old kit. It turned out nicely with Ray's Kits decal sheet. 11/10, six stars, two thumbs up... would buy again!
