Revell 1967 Corvette
My opinion Revell did it again and made a terrific model. I built an older version of the same kit and it had a racing option which I choose. Same 427 engine, same stock setup option, but I went with the 4 Weber carb race engine. This kit has 2 hood options, again I went with the race version. Revell always seems to have very nice detail. The interior is outstanding with crisp molded features that are easy to highlight. the interior to chassis to body is a tight fit, but there are no weird gaps. Only down are the tire options, but isn't that what parts bins are for? I appreciate the nice decal sheet that provides gauges and engine compartment decals. Great model, great build, beautiful car! Get this model it will not disappoint.
This is a pretty well done kit.

This is a pretty nice kit with very little flash. I was a little disappointed with the choice of tire included with the kit, but that's my only complaint. All of the sub-assemblies went together with no problems and the final assembly was without issue as well. There are four color options on the decal sheet allowing for virtually any color combo to be built, and they applied very well. I highly recommend this kit.

Decent model at best. Lot of flash, mostly on the chrome tree. Instructions are poor and some parts hard to find exact spot to attach parts. Decals took very long time to release from paper, very strange, but were easy to apply. Love the red line tire decals. Engine compartment and interior detailing are very good. I even tried my first attempt at braided radiator hose. Love the body lines of the C2 Vette!

This was an enjoyable build. The instructions were easy to follow. I decided to build it with racing tires for a sportier look. I experienced fit issues with the front fender wells which limited me from adding the washer fluid holder.
Lot of defects, but workable
My kit had a lot of defects, Revell offered to replace it, but I decided to use what I had and make the best of it.
