Worse than Lindberg
I built my first plastic airplane model in 1956, aged 6 yrs old, and I have made almost any airplane or car you can name, at least once. I thought that the Lindberg line and Aurora were the worst I've ever seen, until my first model from Roden. It's a shame really, that a company that makes available so many interesting model options, so many planes that have not been modelled or have not been available for some time, makes a product that is just not worth the time and effort. Not to mention they are overpriced. I have seen better produced parts on the cheapest vacuum - formed kits. Very disappointing!
DC-7C by Roden
Split parts (fuselage, wings) don't have alignment pins, so care must be taken to align them accordingly. The propellers are extremely difficult to assemble. That having been said, it's a good kit of a DC-7. The decals are excellent! Some parts are almost microscopic in size, so tiny fingers would help. Finished plane looks very nice.
