have not built this yet, but every thing look's great. nice clear detail. detailed instruction's, and just a really good looking in the box. a friend of mine built this kit and i was impressed with how it turned out. so much so that i had to get one for myself even thou i model in n-scale. it make's a great display piece for any train room. a high quality well made kit. i recommend it for any rail fan.

Although this plactic model does not run, its still very fun to put together, and then you can either have it on a siding of your HO scale layout or you can use the included display track and put it anywhere as long as its safe. THIS IS NOT FOR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 8-9 because this includes very small parts. Dont say I didnt warn you. Have fun with the set!

This is a great kit. The Big Boy is a very famous locomotive and revell has done a good job at this kit. It is not as detailed as other Big Boy Models but it is still well done and, is a great buy for train modelers on a budget. This is a great display item for layouts or any other modeler.

I have put this together without glue as suggested and then gluing it but still it will not stay on the track. This one is trying my patience but I am determined to complete it correctly and get it to stay on the track.

This train was a nice change from military modeling. It is the same scale as modern electric trains so can be used as a yard train or scenery or pushed by another locomotive.or

Had lots of fun putting this Quality Model together Lot of the detail is amazing and although not much painting some of the painting was challenging.

I hope this model comes back in stock, it is a very good build and this personal history of locomotives. It is worth the buy and challenge.

The Big Boy makes a great addition to my RR. An operating HO Big Boy, unfortunately, costs hundreds of dollars.
