Reviews : Revell-Germany Humber Mk.II Armored Vehicle

This Humber is the old Matchbox kit from 1973. It has been re-released, the moulds are starting to show their age a bit with some flash here and there, but nothing that can't be cleaned up. It is a model that can be built very quickly, all the pieces fit together very well. The top hatch of the turret can be open if you want to use the figure (half a figure in fact), or closed if you don't. The four main wheels and one spare are plastic, with basic details there. The good thing is that the kit comes with things like a storage/tool ??box and many other things to add to the model to make it look more realistic. Also, like all these old 1/76 Matchbox kits, it comes with a piece of land (desert looking in this case) to make a small diorama. The Decals are very good, but some of them are microscopic. I recommend this very small kit, that with some care, it will look great when finished.

Even though it's a smaller 1-76 scale kit, it's pretty detailed, the scene for display is not bad and the kit went together pretty good without any major problems, and the crew figure had decent details as well, all in all great to build and great to display, a kit for beginners or experienced builders! I'd recommend

This is an excellent armored car model. Highly detailed, no flash and includes display scene. It is also hard to find a vehicle of this type on the market so get while you can for your collection.
