Reviews : Tamiya WWII German Insignia Decal Waterslide #2

A great idea, as I've never done a good job painting uniform decorations. However, I found these hard to work with, due mostly to their small size, and also, this was my first attempt using these decals. Also, I used them on a set of the older Tamiya Africa Korp figures, and they were not he most perfectly cast figures to work with. They may be more suitable for the newer tooled figures. Maybe with a little more experience, I'll have a better experience with them. Overall, I'd recommend them, as they are better than trying to paint them on the figures uniforms.

This add on is great, takes a lot of effort out of painting details on German soldiers in kits. However, please be aware that this #2 decal product is for Afrika Korps, Waffen SS, and German military police insignia. I didn't see that stated anywhere on the product when I purchased it. I was actually pleasantly surprised about this as I have many Afrika Korps figures I can use it on. Tamiya Insignia #1 is for German Wermacht figures.Overall very nice and a time saver.

Guys this is a must have if your makeing high detailed German figures, it is so much easyer then trying to paint Insignia on a snall figure, there are many differnt options to chose from also, sholder ranks, chest patches, iron-cross, eagles ext. these insignia make the figure so mush more perfect, i just with i had this years ago!

I do not like painting rank, insignia, or medals on military figures, so Tamiya figure decals are a great idea! These are great!
