One of my all-time favorites
This kit is one of my all-time favorites in my collection. The kit is very well-engineered, and the parts fit together beautifully. You could almost stick a tube of glue in the box, shake it up and come out with a finished model. The engine looks particularly good. The wheel arches are really small, so I had a heck of a time finding custom wheels to replace the stock ones. I eventually found a perfect set of wheels on a small die-cast toy that I picked up in a convenience store.
Tamiya Mini Cooper
The Mini Cooper kit from Tamiya is well done. Instructions are clear and parts fit together very well. Tamiya kits have always had tight tolarences and this one is no exception. Like the real car, the parts are small...very small. Those with big hands like mine, will struggle to handle the pieces but the effort is worth it. A very realistic looking model when completed.
