Ride to Drive
This is my first Tamiya model that I have built. For me there is more pros than cons. The cons are for me, is I wished they would have added a moveable front hood and the other half of the engine, so that there was a chance for more details. Now for the pros: there was very very little slag or lines from the molds, the parts fitted like they were suppose to. I did not have too adjust or modify any of the parts. Wish all of the manufacturers would use the way these tires are manufactured too be mounted. The tires rubber really felt like real tires rubber. The movement of the front axles are great. They move easily left or right without feeling like they are bounded. Rest of the manufacturers should take hint from this model. Enjoy as much as I did.
For Painting
This kit was fun and pretty inexpensive. But Tamiya does it again with the details. Steps 1 and two are building up the suspension and it is a lot. Paint all these parts was fun as well. At step 5 you can see the details; you have to add the brake shoes to the disc brakes. That's a nice detail compared to a Lamborghini I was building from testors which was only discs. How does the car stop? But I digress. Paint details are really nicely identified, but in the end I am going to use some color shift paint for the coat just to have fun. Great kit, lots of details, but worth it
R 34 SKYLINE
I LOVE THESE CARS EVEN IF MOST OF THEM ARE CURBSIDE KITS. THESE KITS ARE FAIRLY EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND LOOK VERY GOOD WHEN COMPLETED. THESE MOLDS SEEM TO BE FAIRLY NEW BECAUSE THERE IS NO FLASH OR MOLD LINES ON ANY OF THEM I BUILT. I AM A SKYLINE FANATIC AND IF YOU WANT MODELS OF THESE CARS THERE ARE VERY FEW TO CHOOSE FROM. THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE VERY EASY TO READ AND FOLLOW AND I RECOMEND THIS KIT TO ANYONE SINCE THEY ARE CURBSIDE BUT THEY DO HAVE VERY DETAILED SUSPENSIONS AND INTERIORS. ALL IN ALL A VERY GOOD KIT AND LOTS OF FUN TO BUILD.
The more I got into the kit, the less I liked it
At first the kit appeared great. Being my first Tamiya kit I wasn't sure what to expect. In the end, the lack of an engine, over complicated directions, and large amount of parts which needed to be modified to fit, I do not like this kit. Probably wont buy any Tamiya kits again. Ill stick with Revell. Not to mention even though Hobbylinc has the best price, this kit is actually quite pricey!

The Spec ll was a pleasure to build. The instructions were clear, the parts fit excellently and the wheel options provided some creativity (I ended up changing at the last minute and went with the chrome). The kit is for a great beginner, I recommend the Spec ll.
Pretty good model
This is pretty good model from Tamiya. The attention to details and quality is very nice. I wish they made this model with more detailed engine and some moving parts (like hood) but even without all that it still pretty good build.
Great Kit
Good level of detail, everything fit with little to no extra sanding. By far the best model kit Ive built in a long time.
Great
Great product easy to understand and assemble. Parts well organized and easy to find.
