Reviews : Tamiya German Assault Troops Soldiers Set

Another older kit from Tamiya. I am a big fan of Tamiya but gsve this kit a lower rating due to doubles of figures in set. Also 1 machine gunner needs to be set on a wall or vehicle as he is standing holding a mg34 in firing position with arm crossed over. There is 1 rifleman in a pose that he is jumping out of a vehicle or over something which is nice to add to a diorama for more action poses. Kit comes with all the usually extras per tamiya germab soldier kits and helmet decals for.luftwaffe, army and ss.

100% satisfied WITH THIS SET!! Very little to NO Flash, Great New Mouldings, Very Clean, Very little Clean up, Seams very Easy to Clean Up!! Great Ability to inter-Change parts and customize the Poses with very little Problem, Small amount of Putty needed to complete soldiers & have them look OUTSTANDING!! Love the Tamiya Kits, True Scale & Great Product!! Very Happy & Satisfied, Bought 2 Kits!! 8 figures + extras!!!

This is a deceptive set as there is 8 soldiers but technically only they are only 6. 2 Riflemen and 2 Machingunner are exactly the same ... Also 1 Riflemen is in a pose difficult to place on a diorama because of is pose. I find this soldier set as below average.

They have some interesting poses, but are a very old kit and that age shows when compared to modern figure kits. The hands, boots and weapons all don't look very good by comparison. But if you need these specific poses, this kit works!

This figure set is very old and I only recommend getting it if you are doing a diorama with a lot of German soldiers. I would also recommend get a few Dragon Gen2 sets to replace the outdated gear on these figures.

These figurs are very detailed and an ideal addition to any diarama. The poses are realistic and like most Tamiya kits eavh figure assembles nicely. Add them to any scene for realism.

The detail on these look stunning all ages above 10 seem to love the detail great for action packed parts of dioramas

found set to be a good set to improve gluing and painting skills also the correct steps when doing both

Really like the detail of this kit. Will probably add it to the diorama with my panzer 3.
