Reviews : Tamiya German Infantry Weapons

I got this kit in the mail and I am quite pleased with the quality overall. While the detail is a little lacking, the weapons are still very nicely reproduced in the 1/35 scale. One other thing that caught my attention is that, all the pieces are molded in a metallic color, which will be great when it comes to weathering the barrel or other metal area of the weapons. Tamiya does not make the best models as far as detail goes but, I would absolutely recommend this kit to a friend and would order it again if I ever need more German guns/weapons.

This kit comes with lots of great details for your diorama scene or vehicle kit. The weapons can have their metallic color given some detail/contrast by rubbing black paint into it (acrylic) and then wiping it off so it stays in the crevasses. The inclusion of hand grenade boxes and various mines - which are not usually seen in this scale - are great. This is an old 'classic' Tamiya kit that has held its own through the years!

This kit has a good assortment of machine guns, submachine guns, long guns, side arms and some grenades, mines and panzerfausts that adds to any other vehicle or personnel fit out. More MP44's than the nazi's had and a good addition to the weapons kit!

This is a pretty good kit! It has a lot of really unique weapons and is very beneficial to anyone! I can highly recommend this kit for the very rare G-41 rifle (the father of the G-43).

I am very pleased with tamiya. Clear instructions. I have pre painted them to basic erra will finish when I determine which theater they will be used for. I have no complaints. A

This kit comes with 2 sections of weapons. My personal favorites are the luger and p38 pistols. Great for adding extras to your dioramas or any other builds

Great set to add detail to your figures. Nice selection of weapons and accessories that are well molded.

Pieces all have good detail. Look forward to using them to add realism to a diorama.

This is a good little kit. Did have to clean the guns up some but overall worth it.

With all of the dioramas I'm going to be building, this kit is a must have.
