If you are looking for a quick and easy to assemble kit, this is it. The description says there are decals for three vehicles, this is not true, there are decals for five vehicles. The instructions show three vehicles but in the instruction description, there are two more decals for the pictured vehicles displayed on the box sides. Over all the instructions are straight forward with labels on what color to paint components during assembly. As with Tamiya quality, good detail and parts fit together well. I built mine by gluing the body together and painting the body, chassis and doors separate, this allowed me to get full coverage with my airbrush inside and out. After this, I assembled the drive train and attached the body to the chassis and attached the interior pieces and doors. (Remember... if you paint before assembly, you have to scrape the painted areas down to the plastic so the glue has something to adhere to.) Optional figure but I did not use because his boots are from the latter part of WWII, low rise with straps and not the jack boots. I painted mine in the mono-tone scheme using Tamiya acrylic of German Grey XF-63 as depicted on the side of the box. It took just about 14 hour to build.

This is a nice little kit. Pros: To start the kit has no fit issues. Great detail and that includes the driver. It has an 8-page instruction booklet that is easy to follow. Includes a list of all the paint colors needed. Plus 3 different markings. No problems with the decals. Options of having the doors open or closed, plus the windshield can be up or down. Will go good in a diorama. Cons: NONE. It is not a complicated build, so it would be great for a beginner. Have fun.

I got this kit in the mail and I was like a little kid at Christmas when I opened it. I have been wanting a nice kubelwagen kit for some time now and finally got one. This kit was sent to me by a mystery person but, whoever it was, thank you. The detail is good and I was happy to see that the driver in the picture is actually included in the kit. Great product, great price. I will be buying more of these in the very near future.

The kit is another jewel in the crown of great kits by Tamiya, the vehicle fits into ant diorama and went well in the one I placed it in. The building was simple even with many parts, Tamiya is very good at detailing the parts and the fit in any kit. I painted and detailed the model in my usual way and found the driver figure needed elsewhere so I used several DML figures to complete a vignette.

Kit comes with a detailed driver in sitting position, with a car. The vehicle itself was simple to build, with great instructions, and clear printing, and molding on pieces. The car featured little details like pedals, handbrake, steering wheel, and more making for about an hour or two build time. The only missing part would be rolling wheels, this kit is completely static.

What can I say, just another well detailed kit from Tamiya. Very well fitting parts and now flash of course. Another reviewer stated it had two piece wheels and simplified painting. They are two piece but tire still needs careful painting as the front of the tire and wheel are one piece. Only downside to this kit is it doesn’t have posable steering.

Its great kit, nothing much to say about it. love the option that doors are independent and can be set as you like. Some other products have doors sealed, but this one doesnt. Simply set the doors and boot as you like, open closed...its up to you. there are not too many parts, so assembling this one shouldnt take you more than an hour to finish.

Great Kit highly detailed easy to follow instructions you also get a driver with it would go great with any diorama where you have some officers or a meeting. Doors can be assembled either opened or closed The only draw back is the tires are two piece plastic not rubber like most kits

This is the newer version of the Tamiya Kubelwagen. The ability to show the doors in open positions is a nice touch. My favorite aspect of the kit is the two-part wheels. These simplify painting so much!

Updated kit. Very easy and fun to build. The option for open/closed doors is a great feature. I also like the detail on the canvas top that is folded down. Highly recommend

another great kit. Tamiya kits are awesome well designed all parts nicely together. The detail was great and realistc.

It brakes up the building of tanks and dose fit into the mix
