Reviews : Tamiya US 40-Ton Tank Transporter

I don't usually write a review before I finish the kit, but I am making an exception. When I received the kit, just the box was intimidating. Then over 16 sprues. Plus other parts, rods, PE etc. But I started, and suddenly it was going to be OK. It's Tamiya. And the parts actually clicked as they fit into place. And I knew, this is going to be fun, for a number of days. But I have my Sherman and Motor Howitzer all ready for a ride.

I've been modeling for around 45 years and this kit is one of the best I've ever made. Yes, its big, and has a high parts count, and there is room for some added details. But for such a high parts count, it fits amazing. The build was pretty straightforward and enjoyable. If you like armor kits and have the display room, I highly recommend it.

This is a great kit to really show off your M4 Sherman. There is very little flash on the parts, and they all go together nicely. The instructions are easy to follow. I would highly recommend this kit.

Very happy with how quick I received it. Plus not even a bent corner. I opened it just to look over the directions and this will be a pleasure to build

This kit was a nice addition to my armor collection, not much flash and the parts fit well together.
