Tamiya has done it again. This is an excellent kit. I painted mine all dark yellow. But I think it turned out great. PROS: You start with a 16pg instruction booklet which is easy to follow. Another 6pg glossy background book with color pictures of the Panzer in a museum. Along with color guide pictures for painting & decals. Everything fit perfect with great detail. The PE mesh tank skirts are nice. I was afraid the paint would clog the holes, but that did not happen. The tracks are part individual with large sections already together. Just follow the instructions in order and you will be ok. The long gun barrel is in one piece, and it is strait. You can purchase a metal barrel (item 12660). CONS: None. I really enjoyed this build. You get a lot for the price you pay. I would recommend for an experienced builder. But if you are looking to try individual tracks & PE. This would be the one to start with. Enjoy.

Tamiya is now offering the rare and long-awaited kit of the Panzer IV/70 tank destroyer based on the Panzer IV chassis. The kit is straight forward easy to build but a more experienced hobbyist will enjoy the level of detail Tamiya put into this kit, especially the wire mesh schurzen.

This was an excellent Tamiya panzer with mesh side skirts..easy build lots of fun. No issues at all. But pay close attention to side skirt directions.
