Reviews : Tamiya German Horch Kfz15 Vehicle

The kit build is straight forward. Instructions are good. The figures included in the kit are very good with the exception of the ear detail on the heads. The 2 figures that sit in the vehicle fit very nice, The only assembly issue I encountered was the fit of the engine cowling area. I overcame this issue by adding some plastic rod to the areas where I was not pleased with the fit. The kit provides oodles of various stowage and armament to fill out the back of the vehicle. Decals are very good. Overall, I liked this kit a lot.

My kit is the original issue and I found that by adding an anti aircraft gun and crew to the kit I replicated a perfect vehicle base for such a large modification. The kit is fairly straight forward with easy to follow instructions that Tamiya is very good at writing and diagraming. There is no die flash of other problems with the parts. The detailing possibilities run from very basic to adding many extras. This kit will certainly fill the German wheeled vehicle gap as a great addition.

Again another great Tamiya kit thats easy to build and has lots of potential. Great addons included lend to the attraction to this kit. No flash and detailed instructions. I also added the 2cm flak gun being pulled by this vehicle to lend more realism to my Afrika Corps diorama I'm building and it adds a lot to the appeal of this kit. I recommend this kit to the beginner of experienced modeler as it is a lot of fun to build.
