Reviews : Tamiya Tyrannosaurus Rex

I have yet to find a dinosaur kit I didn’t like. This is no exception. The kit isn’t complicated with few parts. If one wants to hide the seams, some creative putty work can really set it apart. It is a great way to try your hand at putty and sculpting. The eyes may seem a bit clunky at first, but the design of them actually allows one to use their own idea of which way the T Rex is looking. This kit is an excellent choice for anyone looking to be creative. Since the loss of Aurora Prehistoric Scenes, this is a favorite.

Having watched Grandpa (me) build many kits over the years of his life---all four of them---my grandson is really enjoying assembling a t-rex with 'Baba'. The pieces fit well without glue, although I am using some, anticipating a tough future for Mr T .Also, my little builder likes his t-rex blue. And so it is. It is looking wonderful and causing lots o smiles

This is, by far, the worst effort at making a T-Rex ever. It looks nothing like a T-Rex. It more resembles one of those 1950s creature feature stop motion monsters than an actual dinosaur. Tamiya should be ashamed.

I have built many dinosaurs. T. rex is the biggest dinosaur. It looks great when built. easy assembly. Very realistic.
