You can tell it's Italeri
It wasn't god awful like some Italeri kits are, but it definitly has it's flaws. The fit is overall poor, the detail isn't great, it has raised pannellines, and it only has 1 option for decals. I do appreciate the extending kenards that allowed the airframe to pull 9gs over mach 1, it reminds me of the old revell 1/32 scale kit where the kenards came out with the wings. Back to the Tamiya kit, the wings do fold out, but independently with the other wing. Unless you are buying it for the ghostriders paint scheme, (which by the way isn't accurite to the real high vis paint job) I would recommend going with the new academy or hobbyboss kit in 1/72 scale.
