Reviews : Tamiya RAF Mustang III Fighter

This airplane makes a fun little project. The kit is nicely packaged and like most Tamiya kits is very clean. You have a choice of 4 different airplanes from the decal sheet. I decided to build mine up as plane 2 on the list. It is a Polish squadron that fought from England during the war. The kit assembles very nicely. I used some putty in 3 little areas on the build. The cockpit is detailed nicely and has a decal for the control panel. The decal sheet has all the little data markings as well, so you can detail up which ever version you build. This kit would be great for a beginner. For an expert modeller it can also be the start of some very nice super-detailed projects. I highly recommend this kit.

Tamiya are reknowned for producing highly detailed models that are simple to build and most importantly, affordable. This kit is no exception. The build is fun and the result incredibly life like.
