I ordered this project and I feel it is great. I took off a star because the led lights seem dim and I have to use another light to go with it. The base is a little tall so I recommend and shorter table to put in on. The extra compartments help with storage while working on your project. It doesn't come with a plug in so you have to use D batteries. I order a plug in for over seas to use with it. It's a great addition and easy to use except for the dim lighting. I ordered the cutting board that fits it. With that you have ever thing you need to work in one area. The movable arms works great as well as the magnifying glass. I would recommend this product.

I like to keep my workspace well organized. The Work Table helps, however, it is not as handy as I expected. The magnify glass will help me paint small items more accurately. The LED lamp works, but I expected a stronger light. I could not find the exact cutting mat, so I ended up buying a few and needed to cut one to make it fit in the working surface. For me, it is very handy to paint the real small parts of a model, but to use it as a work space, is not really going to work as it is too small. The magnifying glass really does help, however for me, it was a very expensive buy just for a magnifying glass. Before you buy, I would think twice.

Perfect addition to the serious modeler's workshop! The adjustable arms of this product make it easy to position the magnifying lens to a comfortable position so that you can paint with fine detail . The light, while not as bright as you'd expect, is certainly adequate. Unless you want to purchase batteries for the light, you'll have to buy a 6 volt adapter separately which was the only disappointment. I also had to trim plastic off the base so the adapter would fit into the jack which was no big deal. Overall, I'm pleased with the product. It's saved a lot of strain on my eyes!

I was surprised by the quality, but Tamiya always has great stuff. The magnifying lens has no distortion, and the led lights are very bright. It probably works best with models up to 1/35, but I model 1/48, and it's perfect for that. Very solid, well engineered, and I wish I had bought it sooner. The only gripe I have, is the bottle holders are square, which is great for Tamiya glues, but the round Tamiya paint bottles don't fit well. Minor complaint. Overall I give it five stars.

Easy to assemble. Some say the LED light is not bright enough, but I like it because it's not so bright that it creates excessive glare that hides missed spots while painting. You don't realize how much you need a magnifying glass stand until you actually start using one. The included white background fence is also great for taking photos of the models if you crop the photos right.

This was not exactly what I thought it was going to be, but it is a nice work area. Pros - There is a place for the tools & brushes you are currently using and the stand is sturdy. Cons - The lighting is of poor quality & does not enhance your work area in anyway, This unit does not have any extra storage space.

greatly needed item for my work area. I have the working hands stand w/ magnifier lens and moveable clips, which works great for hand painting my miniatures for detail but no light to use. this item comes with light lens. can't wait to use several projects waiting.

Product was and is exactly what I needed on my bench. Only thing I need to find the drawing of the power plug setup. I would certainly recommend this to any builder,novice or advanced. The magnifying glass really does help some of us more advanced in age modelers.

I like keeping my workspace very well organized, this item helps greatly. The only bad thing is the cutting mat, i can't find the right size but have not looked hard enough. The LED lamp works well and the magnifying lens is pretty big, a most have.

Pros: Nice, compact workstation with a powerful magnifier & bright work light. Cons: Wish it came with an AC adapter. Very pleased with this product.

This is a great addition to a person who may have eyesight problems such as myself. Its a excellent work station for your needs

good stand ,light only good for removing shadows you will need a second light. very stable,good weight with batteries in

Works great for tiny parts,especially if you need glasses
