Reviews : Tamiya Acrylic X6 Orange 3/4 oz

Tamiya's Orange is a good paint to use on model aircraft or vehicles. It applies smoothly, without brush strokes from showing, if applied with a brush, it can be thinned with acrylic paint thinner for airbrushing. It has a glossy shine which gives the appearance of a high gloss paint job. It dries in an hour or so. You can apply a second coat, without waiting for it dry overnight. I like it for this feature as it is readily for painting a second coat fast. I recommend it.

Tamiya makes the hobby paint on the planet. Its so easy to work with. The coverage is awesome. At first, coming from Testors, I was hesitant because Testors is so thin and barely covers. Once I used it, it was a game changer. I will be switching all my paints to Tamiya.

I love it! I used this for small details on my model cars. May need a few coats to get a good vibrant orange. Otherwise it's great. It dries as a really nice yellowish orange. Would recommend, one of my favorite paint colors.

I use only Tamiya paints on my cars and bike models they go on nice and smooth with no brush marks in the paint they are true to the color they say they are and a must for Tamiya models they out of the brush with hot water

I use tamiya paint for all my models, in my opinion it is one of the best paints in both finish and value. I have had good results using Tamiya and i am by no means an expert painter, so just my opinion.

This paint has great coverage on my Navy vessel and it has great posibilites on other model kits that I have on the back burner. Great hobby paint.

Very nice orange, color does darken with multiple coats. Thinning is simple for airbrush use, I recommend 2 parts paint to 1 part thinner.
