Best model paint by far
By: Felgenhauer98
Tamiya makes the hobby paint on the planet. Its so easy to work with. The coverage is awesome. At first, coming from Testors, I was hesitant because Testors is so thin and barely covers. Once I used it, it was a game changer. I will be switching all my paints to Tamiya.
Versatile!
This paint very versatile: it can be used on clear pieces to give a unique tinted lens look, it can be used over crome pieces to give it that anodized aluminum look, it can be used over silver metallic for a candy blue paint job, ect...
Translucent blue

I used this for a fake stain-glass window. Need a few layers to get a deep color, but good. I mix with clear red to get a translucent purple that I use for a burnt metal look.
Clear paints by Tamiya
I have been building model kits for over 35 years and this clear paint is by far the best to use on chrome plated parts or metallic undercoat and topping with clears is great.
nice clear blue

Tamiya paints are the best for car models, they go on nice, most never leave brush lines, they are true to color. I used this clear blue to color the blue knight kit
Nice effect Blue

Nice Blue, easy to over thin, best ratio i have found is thinning with Tamiya thinner at 2 parts paint to 1 part thinner for airbrushing.
Use this for engine connectors
Gives a nice transparent look for any metal connector. You can also use it to achieve that heat distortion for chrome exhaust
Great acrylic paint
Great for aircraft navigation lights when used over X11 Chrome silver. Try it you'll love it.
Another Great Clear Colored Paint!!!
Another great addition to the fine line of Tamiya clear color paints.
