It's a good paint for the money. Doesn't cover the grade or sometimes. You gotta put 2 or 3 Coats on dry's. Relatively fast, easy clean up again a good value for the money. If you use a lot of brush on red, I do suggest this product.
To work and I'm a famous one that needs to repair it.
Best model paint by far

Tamiya makes the hobby paint on the planet. Its so easy to work with. The coverage is awesome. At first, coming from Testors, I was hesitant because Testors is so thin and barely covers. Once I used it, it was a game changer. I will be switching all my paints to Tamiya.
MATT FLAT FOR SURE
Being of the BRUSHMAN CLASS I am sold on FLAT. This paint goes on smoothly thin with good coverage & NO BRUSH STROKES. The selection is limited so l mix my own colors & finish spray with any clear coat for the desired effect. DO NOT FORGET THE ACRYLIC THINNER
My,Go To, acrylics!
Learned how to use the airbrush with Tamiya paints. Love the way these colors lay down, whether by brush or air. Will always have a soft spot for Tamiya. They been with me from the beginning. Kinda makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, huh? 😆
Tamiya XF-7 Flat Red Acrylic Paint

This paint is flat red, which means that it does not have gloss when painted on the surface. Tamiya Acrylics are high quality paints that have superior coverage. When painting a model that uses flat red, this product is a great option!

Tamiya's Flat Red

The paint sticks and mixes well. A minor nitpick is that the actual color is a bit darker than the bottom of the bottle even with a white base underneath. This could possibly be fixed with less layers however. Still, very good red.

It says its a flat red.. and it is Great color. I needed to apply more layers to my building (wood) to get the color I wanted, but I didn't mind it. Overall - I recommend it.
Great acrylic paint
Paint to Thinner range 2:1 to 1:1 for airbrushing depending on air pressure, paint volume and distance from subject. Experiment on scrap plastic first.
Nice Product

Very nice red, matte color does darken with multiple coats. Thinning is simple for airbrush use, I recommend 2 parts paint to 1 part thinner.

This is a flat red which I also use to mix with other colors to make orange. Tamiya paints are excellent for mixing.
Awesome
Definitely worth the money! Paint was a good looking color just as shown and easily washes out of brushes!

This is an outstanding color for the waterline colors of US Navy ships of war.
