Tamiya Quality
Tamiya paint is awesome. It can be thinned with x20a, h20, laquer thinner, or alcohol. I use tamiya laquer thinner most of the time because it gives the paint a harder shell to be able to hold up better to the weathering processes I use. I like to use this paint in combo with tamiyas german grey on panzers to create color mod or faded panels.
Best model paint by far
Tamiya makes the hobby paint on the planet. Its so easy to work with. The coverage is awesome. At first, coming from Testors, I was hesitant because Testors is so thin and barely covers. Once I used it, it was a game changer. I will be switching all my paints to Tamiya.
Very good Paint
I use this Tamiya XF-20, Medium Gray acrylic paint as a base coat in combination with Tamiya XF-73 Dark Green to provide upper surface camouflage for my British WWII aircraft. It's easy to apply and gives me the finish I want.
Great acrylic paint
Paint to Thinner range 2:1 to 1:1 for airbrushing depending on air pressure, paint volume and distance from subject. Experiment on scrap plastic first.
perfect color
perfect color match. easy to thin and apply. always happy with this brand.
Easy to use and provides a durable finish. I like the water wash-up!
