Best model paint by far
Tamiya makes the hobby paint on the planet. Its so easy to work with. The coverage is awesome. At first, coming from Testors, I was hesitant because Testors is so thin and barely covers. Once I used it, it was a game changer. I will be switching all my paints to Tamiya.
Great For Adding Some Grime!!!
I love using this combined separately with Tamiya XF-52 Flat Earth for adding a look of dirt and grime to certain kits (especially military kits), be sure to use a dry brush technique to apply these so you don't over do it.
Great acrylic paint
Paint to Thinner range 2:1 to 1:1 for airbrushing depending on air pressure, paint volume and distance from subject. Experiment on scrap plastic first. Good match for RLM 63
Good for the color..
The color has some green in it; I was hoping for more gray. On a car kit, it's makes a nice counterpoint to a bright green body color - contrasts, but compliments.
Great detail shade
I've used this before it's a great highlight and dry brush color for Luftwaffe cockpits and landing gear bay interiors.
XF22 RLM gray
Nice reproduction military color, does not need thinning in my opinion. goes on nice levels well and dry's fairly fast.
Great paint
I love Tamiya paints. I add a little paint retarder and it brushes on great. No brush strokes. Very happy with Tamiya paints.
Looks Great
Covers nice and looks good for what you need it for. Kind of a greenish-grey color, perfect for a camouflage scheme.
Another Gray
After thinning this paint leaves a nice finish when airbrushing or hand painting.
