Tamayia XF23 Light Blue
A really beautiful shade of LIGHT BLUE which I used to air brush the bottom of the Italeri AMERICAN AIR ACES version of the 1943 Tunisia U.S. Sparmarine Spitfire as the directions called for( or AZURE BLUE) as opposed to SKY It came out outrageous. If it were a clear blue sky this shade would be perfectly blended in. It also used FLAT MIDDLESTONE and FLAT DARK EARTH for the top fuselage. Picks to follow
Best model paint by far
Tamiya makes the hobby paint on the planet. Its so easy to work with. The coverage is awesome. At first, coming from Testors, I was hesitant because Testors is so thin and barely covers. Once I used it, it was a game changer. I will be switching all my paints to Tamiya.
Great acrylic paint
Paint to Thinner range 2:1 to 1:1 for airbrushing depending on air pressure, paint volume and distance from subject. Experiment on scrap plastic first. For me 2:1 works best on lighter colors
The paint is what is listed
The paint is what is listed. The paint looks clean and new. It a Tamiya paint. The labels doesn't come lose. Paints are well packaged.
XF23 ligth blue
another great paint from tamiya, doesn't seem to need thinning just a great paint.
Tamiya Paint
Excellent paints, never any problems with them. Need a larger bottle though.
Easy to use and provides a durable finish. I like the water wash-up!
