Reviews : Tamiya Acrylic Mini X27 Clear Red 1/3 oz

Tamiya makes the hobby paint on the planet. Its so easy to work with. The coverage is awesome. At first, coming from Testors, I was hesitant because Testors is so thin and barely covers. Once I used it, it was a game changer. I will be switching all my paints to Tamiya.

Great coverage, best when thinned with alcohol and sprayed although, brushing SMALL areas can be done. Dries very quickly so dip your brush in alcohol and make minimal strokes. If you need to you can smooth a rough finish with your brush dipped in alcohol.

Not sure why the digital color swatch on your screen shows a pink color, but this is a clear read, as the name of the paint indicates. For small lights, can easily be brushed on.

Tamiya clear red is the best clear red out there. For brake lights, emergency lights, etc. you can't do any better.

This is a true red, not pink like the sample shows in the listing. Go for it! Great for navigation and brake lights.

A must have for painting tail lights on model kits, great paint, highly recommended!
