This is the color that I use a lot of is Tamiya flat back I use it for a tank track washes ,panel line grime mixed with rubbing alcohol and a touch of water .Then use it to darken up some bright colors so it's a universal so it does have many uses overall it gives a good even coat once all dried . I have to say Tamiya paints are top notch no disappointments It makes a model paint job precise either can be brushed on or airbrushed it does a good job .

great paint, great coverage and smooth finish. if used with a brush it is hard to get a very smooth finish unless you thin it down. used with a air brush and this paint gives a amazing finish. Flat black is a good base for may other colors and is a must for modeling. I have used alot of other brads of flat black and with this product it dose not get a whiteish dull sheen over it that i have gotten with other brands. highly recommended

Tamiya acrylics are easy to handle with superb coverage because of it's fine particles. The flat black is a multipurpose tool because of the amount of things it can be used for, like preshading, base colour, etc. This product is top of the line, so you should buy this. One con to note is that Tamiya acrylics don't brush paint well.

Great product, love Tamiya paints! Flat Black is one of the must have colors as it has so many uses! I don't air brush, I'm old school with a brush haha soo I would recommend a little Tamiya 20x thinner to help as it will provide a smoother finish almost as good as air brushing.

Tamiya makes the hobby paint on the planet. Its so easy to work with. The coverage is awesome. At first, coming from Testors, I was hesitant because Testors is so thin and barely covers. Once I used it, it was a game changer. I will be switching all my paints to Tamiya.

This is very good. Normally i find flat blacks too thin, so it requires at least 4 layers to get it right (and actually flat). This paint only needed 1 coat, two if you're just making sure its a solid base. Wont be using any other branded Flat Black, Tamiya's is the best.

As with all Tamyia Acrylic paints,coverage is excellent even for a flat paint.flows evenly and settles better than any other Acrylic paint i have used.

Paint is simple to apply without loading very much on brush and it dries fast. I really like to use this acrylic paint.

Great coverage. Tested over white primer, was able to cover with single coat. More of a Matte look than flat.

Tamiya paints are a must in this hobby. Easy to spray or brush. Easy clean up. Coloring is great!
