Best model paint by far
By: Felgenhauer98
Tamiya makes the hobby paint on the planet. Its so easy to work with. The coverage is awesome. At first, coming from Testors, I was hesitant because Testors is so thin and barely covers. Once I used it, it was a game changer. I will be switching all my paints to Tamiya.
Always need white in the kit
I got back into modeling recently and began building my toolkit. The Tamiya paints were part of that first paint kit, primarily for WW2 German and US infantry, tanks, vehicles and planes. This paint brushes on well and I mix it 1:1 with thinner when airbrushing.

This paint is great because of its opacity. Most paints require many, many, many coats of paint to achieve maximum coverage of the white color. This is one quality that make Tamiya paints superb.
XF-2 Flat White Mini
Tamiya I believe makes the best paints. I used this to make a wash for the inside of wheel and engine parts to build up the evening of gray showing through on a Tamiya F-14A 1/48 scale model.

great to airbrush
I used this when airbrushing national emblems on vehicles. Unusually white is very hard to airbrush, but this paint mixed about 50-50 with Tamiya thinner works great.

For a flat white paint it goes on quite well and covers easy too, good for a flat white paint, and the price is right too.
