Reviews : Tamiya Acrylic Mini XF60 Dark Yellow 1/3 oz

Odd grungy dull yellow colored acrylic paint. Tamiya recommended it for a WWII U.S. soldier’s jacket. The smaller pots aren’t as good of a value as the ¾ oz., but they are still worth it if you’re not planning on using it a lot. Its consistency is a bit on the thick side, but thins well with water (though Tamiya also makes an acrylic thinner that is better), and if you thin it to 5-6 parts paint to 1 part water it will give a very nice brushstroke free look in 3-4 coats. Although, I have just used it straight out of the pot, and I got fairly good results. Very good paint.

Tamiya makes the hobby paint on the planet. Its so easy to work with. The coverage is awesome. At first, coming from Testors, I was hesitant because Testors is so thin and barely covers. Once I used it, it was a game changer. I will be switching all my paints to Tamiya.

High quality paint. It is necessary for german post 1943 equipment including cannons, tanks cars, some planes etc... It is also the color of some ww2 and korea US uniform items like jackets and such.

Great quality paint, easily thinned, and lays down smooth. Color is spot on to the lid. Definitely would recommend. The price is fantastic.

Great for any Afrika Korps models but if you don't think color matches enough, you could mix in some brown or white

This is my go to paint for base coat on German amour. Easy to thin for airbrush usage. great shelf life.

Great paint for airbrushing as well as finish work. Adheres very well.
