Reviews : Tamiya Spray Lacquer TS14 Black 3 oz

I use this paint most of the time due to convenience of being a spray bottle over an airbrush paint. If Im airbrushing, I'll use Alclad Gloss black. Both do the same job, and have mostly the same finish. It adheres directly to bare plastic with no issues, and as an added bonus, Alclad metal effects DO work over this spray, but will not have as much scratch resistance versus the Alclad gloss base, but it DOES work very well. It self levels nearly as good as enamel bases.

Tamiya TS spray cans have made the plastic model hobby fun again. They ALWAYS spray a smooth coat. The lacquer paint dries hard and very fast. I am now using 90% Tamiya TS sprays. Hobby Linc sent my order in 3 days. Thanks

Once you get the distance and speed down you get consistent results. Two light coats and one third coat gives excellent results if the body plastic is smooth. You can also clear with ts13 and buff to a mirror finish.

My current project uses a two tone design of blue and black. This black is being used as my secondary tone, of which the quality and laying of the black is clean and doesn't have issues bonding to my project.

This is a great rattle can paint. Very glossy, very black. Can be sensitive to an uneven primer layer, as the aerosol is very fine and short range. Much more like an airbrush than a can of Rustoleum.

I sprayed my model & when it dried it looked like it was still wet!!! I can not believe it! This has to be the best black model car paint on the market! I'll never buy any other brand.

Outstanding! I honestly may be switching all my painting needs to Tamiya after using this product. Goes on super thin but yet covers everything quite easily.

Consistant coverage, clean good spray head, paint color is very easy to work with just wish more volume for the price. Deep black with great sheen

This is the first time Using Tamiya spray Paint.It covers great with one coat.Whish I had been using Tamiya Paints before.

Tamiya makes the best paints. Smooth spray, fast dry. Its the only paint i use anymore. This is a true black color.

As with all the Tamiya paints I have used so far, this one sprays very well out of the can and goes on smooth.

Goes on well, drys fast. Some of the gloss goes out as it dries but it's still very nice. Easy to clear over.

Never had a problem using these, great base coat for the Met Silver & Gold TS83 & 84 colors.

The best spray can gloss black out there. It is well worth the price.
