Bright!
I was going to use this as a base coat for Tamiya TS-59, pearl light red, on a 1950 Chevy 3100 (as a custom lowrider). I put this on - and liked it so well, I had to change the whole color scheme idea because it's going to be silver now! I used Rustoleum white primer, then wet-sanded with 10K grit. The silver went on SMOOTH. I also found that it burnishes up VERY well with a paper towel?(don't rub too hard!); 10K grit wet sand scratches it. I'm gonna have to get some more ....
A great shade of silver
This works great as a base coat, but it also works great for various shades of silver as well. It is a nice warm shade that doesn't look too harsh. A glossy clear coat gives it a nice finishing touch
A great rocket silver!
Skip all of that thinning and hassle, just use spray paint! Shake well with metal paints, wear gloves and have some Tamiya X-200A thinner (I buy 4 oz bottles) around for cleanup. Keep that nozzle clean!
Silver Leaf
This paint is as chrome or silver as it gets. Having searched through many shiny greys, silver leaf is great.
Tamiya silver leaf spray paint
This spray paint lays down with consistent results every time as long as you use several thin coats.
Good paint
I bought 4 more cans of Tamiya lacquer paints these are great coverage and really bond to models
Great paint, user friendly
Tamiya paints are the best out there. Easy to use, fast drying, smooth application.
