These Tamiya paints are superbly thin (about 1 mil thick) and when applied correctly and carefully, they dry very quickly and are super glass smooth; very little need for polishing (just use a little Novus #2 and apply decals, then apply Future over that...excellent finish). By far much better than the old candy-enamels we used as kids. BUT...!....BEWARE. DO NOT follow the color swatches that are posted in the TS pdf files, nor those on this (and many others) website because they are way off. I needed an exact match of purple and this swatch was exactly the right color, however the actual paint dried much darker and almost had a purple red/maroon hue to it, so be very careful. If possible, search the internet for photos of the caps, as they are somewhat (but not always) closer. Secondly, you must use these with excellent ventilation, or outdoors, and with a respirator mask. The fumes are horrific and carcinogenic.

Quality paint in a can in a color you will not find at a hardware store. I decant the paint to airbrush. Better finish and paint lasts longer making better value for money. Nice color match for 1988 Le Mans winning Jaguar

This color looks beautiful on classic low riders. I used it on the 49 Merc. Very high gloss esp w clear coat and polish.

As with all of the Tamiya paint, I’ve tried so far this one is like all the rest, top notch!

Tamiya paints are the best out there. Easy to use, fast drying, smooth application.

Nice color for a custom or a hot rod. Sprayed well ,nice finish.
