This Tamiya spray is great quality - goes on smooth and very fine, no runs or 'gloms' etc. Dries quickly and has a great finish. It's impossible to tell the exact paint colour when purchasing paint online due to screens and colour differences when viewing compared to actual product etc, but this particular colour is superb. Exactly what I hoped it would be. Perfect.

Best spray paints ever! Low Odor and Fast Drying Time! I can spray a model outdoors, bring it inside and it does not smell up the house. It also dries so quickly it's fabulous. They lay down a perfect coverage with no splatter everytime even when the can gets low.

After exhaustive searching, I found this color by Tamiya to be as close as I can get for the mid/late 40's/Early 50's Navy aircraft. Its shade is similar to the faded blue the aircraft would have after weathering constant flight ops.

This paint is good for building models of any U.S. Navy aircraft or any other model aircraft. This paint will make a nice finish and if applied properly, this will make a good finish.

If you're looking for a very accurate navy blue for planes, this is it. I used it on both a Corsair and Consolidated. If you are looking for authenticity, this is it.

Tamiya paints are the best out there. Easy to use, fast drying, smooth application.
