I have been using this tape for a few years for everything from holding parts while I paint them and then stick them to a table edge while it dries, to holding parts together while the glue dries. But now I have the dispenser also. It makes these jobs easier and quicker. I use the 6mm and the 10mm. When you are using an airbrush sometimes you need a crisp line to define between two or more colors. The tape and dispenser is the way to go.

excellent masking tape. Adhesion is very good yet still easily repositioned and removed. Is it also thinner than painters tape which allows you to make tighter, smoother curves and follow contours better than typical masking tapes allow. No issues at all with edge bleed either. It forms a crisp edge every time. With its small size of 6mm, its specially good for masking a canopy, and for any small detail work its highly recommended.

This is an excellent tape with great adhesive quality's for paint. Its almost silly not to buy a roll of these masking tapes if you can afford it then all three are the way to setup your work area. Google can help translate mm to say inches or centimeters which ever you prefer check that out if your confused. I highly recommend having this tape in your arsenal

I've been using this since shortly after beginning modelling. It works great! The tape holds close to the plastic and thus prevents paint from seeping under the tape. It's thin, so one can use it in small spaces. It removes without residue. The case takes up hardly any space wherever it's stored. And the price is reasonable. Well worth your buy!

i use all kinds of masking materials in my model building, especially airplanes, which i paint after they are built and body worked. this tape is what i go to for that all-important first line when masking. it creates a really good paint edge, and sticks well, but comes off nicely when you need it to. top quality product that does its job well.

With a 6mm width, this is probably the most used masking tape I have in my tool kit. The tape has the right amount of tackiness and won't leave a residue and the dispenser makes it very handy to use. Being a paper tape, however, it doesn't have any flexibility for masking curves, which a vinyl tape would offer.

If you don't use this for masking you are wrong. This is so low tack that it can go over Alclad shinnies without taking up the paint. It leave a very nice edge when removed, though not as sharp as pin striping tape.

This is my go to tape for everything. Perfect size for minor masking to holding pieces together like plane hulls. Don't think i've built a kit without using this at one point or another.

This dispenser has a built in cutter and comes with a full roll of 6 mm masking tape. Easy to use and easy to open so refills of the tape can be used once the initial supply is used up.

As with everything Tamiya, this is great stuff. You can also make gun slings and canvas bag straps with it, with some patience. Just cut small strips, glue and paint it.

this is a good product. It takes a little time to get use to holding it the right way and tearing the tape off. After some practice it works great

Works perfect for making straight lines. I even cut it down to about 1/8 and did all the trim on a car, and had NO bleed through at all. Get it!

Holds the sharpest line I’ve seen yet, but I haven’t tried automotive tape. This is easier to get a hold of, and possibly cheaper.

Found this to be the easiest (therefore best) masking tape I have ever used. Highly recommend-especially with the dispenser!

It is always good to have good masking tape handy and this is a good one, Tamiya seems to always deliver.

This thin tape is great for masking small parts and adheres and removes well without damaging paint.

Great masking tape, great width and right stickiness, don' pull the paint from model when masking.
