I'm sure there are other products that can be found as well as home made concoctions that do the same job and are more cost efficient. But Tamiya makes top quality stuff and takes up probably 75% of my shelf space, so I have no problem spending a little more in the long run, knowing it's going to work as it should, and supporting a truly outstanding company that has been in the hobby for decades. I keep it in stock and use it almost daily for my airbrush and tool clean up.

For some time now I have been using this Tamiya Airbrush Cleaner to clean both of my inexpensive airbrushes. I have been spraying only Tamiya brand acrylic paints and, with this same brand product, they clean out easily and thoroughly after each use. I have had no problems with residual paint build up or clogs in either airbrush. Highly recommended.

I use this to clean off stubborn acrylic dried up paint that builds up after time in the airbrush after airbrushing then disassemble the airbrush and soak it for awhile in this solvent It does what it supposed to cleans it right up no problems I recommend this to all air brusher's out there give it a try .

I had read about Tamiya Airbrush cleaner and its use as a thin glue so I bought a bottle from Hobby Linc to try it out.Sure enough, it works as well as Tamiya extra thin cement,which I also bought from Hobby Linc.And at 250 mls per bottle it is a lot less than buying the extra thin cement,too.

This cleaner cuts through the dried acrylic paint that builds up in an airbrush better than thinner cleans up wet paint. This is a must have if acrylics are used. It doesn't take much so a bottle should go a long way. Highly recommended

From a performance basis, this stuff really has no peer in dissolving dried acrylic or lacquer paints in one's airbrush. It's nice to see that Hobbylinc's price for this item is among the lowest I've seen.

This cleaner cuts through everything. Great for dear cleaning your airbrush and your brushes. Works with enamels and acrylics.

It smells REALLY STRONG!! I imagine that it will work for enamel, lacquer and acrylics. Cleaned my Tamiya HGIII thoroughly.
