Reviews : Tamiya Masking Tape 1mm

This tape came in handy for two specific cases on my last build. First, it's an excellent tape if you are trying to mask off a curved line. The 1 mm width allows the tape to be manipulated into curves for masking better than the wider tapes that Tamiya offers. I do know Tamiya also has a curved masking tape, but this was used in a pinch and did the trick. Second, it was great to use in masking the canopy lines. The small width once again was very helpful to mask 1/72 canopies.

I have Made an HO scale roadway. I have used this tape for the paralell center stripes. In scale, it is very close to that of real roads. It gives a realistic appearance. It adheres nicely, and doesn't tear too easily. I use it for masking as well. It is a very good product.

I currently use Tamiya masking tape for masking ho scale trains. The product provides great results. The product is easy to use. It works well at keeping paint from seeping through. The tape also works well with curves.

This supoer skinny tape is great for fine details. I use it on plane canopies and for all sorts of things on aircraft carrier planes and other ship details.

Saves me cutting wider tape into thin strips to mask those tricky spots. The thinness allows the tape to conform to curves more easily.

Awesome tape, doesn't pull up paint and leaves a clean line.

Size I needed for a 1/48 F-14A Tomcat. Excellent product.
