Reviews : Testors Flat Steel 1/4 oz

I bought this flat steel enamel because my old bottle (from the 1980s...)finally dried up. This color is lighter and less steel looking than the old testors steel enamel, which was somewhere between gun metal and aluminum. This new one looks almost identical to the testors flat aluminum, so I will probably mix in some grey/black to darken it.

I am old fashioned. I like to hand paint all my plastic model parts (except the bodies) and I've been using Testors enamel since I was a kid. Steel is a must for most car models.

Used this for parts on my models; such as, exhaust and engine parts. Shake it real well; otherwise, it looks goldish. Is a flat paint, so not shiny at all.

Testors enamel paints are sooo nice to run thru an airbrush since they clog less then acrylic.
