Reviews : Testors Lacquer Spray Wet Look Clear Coat 3 oz

I used this over Model Master GTS Blue Pearl on my '68 Hemi Dart and it turned out ok. I should have done some sanding and waxing but that was my fault, I was in a hurry to get this thing painted before monsoon hit here in Arizona - my bad. Still, good clearcoat nonetheless. I've used this clear on numerous projects now and I've had great results each time. There is enough viscosity to the clear that you get good build even over decals, although cooler weather can limit the flow and make the extra viscosity a little more of a challenge. Great product overall!

Testors spray paints to me works really good. Reliable to the end.Even when there is only a few shots left in the can after sitting for a long time. The clear look leaves a nice wet look when buffed to a high shine after sanding wit very high grit wet dry paper or sticks.

I sprayed this over Testors Plum Crazy. I used Tamiya sprays almost exclusively so this was a first time using Testors. I prefer Tamiya overall, but would consider using Testors again to get a different color. Either way, it beats Rustoleum or Krylon.

I prefer this clear coat for all my model cars. Two coats looks great, but three or more really shines. Puts that miles deep shine on your models forever. Definitely recommended!

I like this product for getting a smooth, high gloss look. It's enamel and provides a nice hard finish to protect your paint job. Get it, you won't regret.

This clear is hands down my favorite! Applies nicely and dries to the touch quite quickly. But still try to refrain from touching for 24hrs.

The Testors Spray lacquer clear coats are the best out there. Never a bad finish, great coverage and durability.
