This is a good set of files, 10 different shaped files to choose from. I gave it 3 stars as the machining in the cut patterns on the files is not consistently smooth and well-defined as one might expect from more expensive needle files. I find that material builds up quickly on some of them and requires frequent cleaning with a wire brush. But, overall, I am highly satisfied with this set. Again, the variety of file shapes gives one better choices to handle the tough angles and curves of model kits. I recommend it for its overall variety and generally good quality of construction.

There are other brands of needle files out there that are more precise in build, that is, not appearing to be made from metal that was stamped out like these appear to be. Some of the files do not have cutting surfaces all the way to the ends of the points like more precise files so. I needed a quick replacement for my now worn (yes, files will dull if used on metal) precision set. These do cut and cut well. I now use the precision files for a back-up, so to speak.

Very important to have these babies save me so much time when going from plastic spru cut to photo etch parts.. and much I'm sure I'm not thinking about its very useful to have this and will last you for quite some time. Diamond bits are even better if your are really looking for more quality personally I suggest starting there but these do the job for me just fine

If you are in the need of a file set because your sanding sticks aren't removing quite enough material, I would recommend these. Seem fairly well made... Just wish there were a little more to the handle. Thinking about maybe taking a thicker dowel; drilling out a hole than using a 2-part Epoxy to secure them. No big deal...

I abuse the heck out of these. I file plastic and soft metals. I also file harder metals, like music wire. Music wire doesn't file quickly, but the files do their job. These work great!

a must have for every modelers hobby bench , i use mine all the time , dont know how i got by without these , very inexpensive they pay for themselves the first time you use them !!

Really great file set for an unbelievable low price. I work in a machine shop and to order just one of these files costs more than the whole set. Thanks HobbyLinc!

Love this set, a good mix of flat, half round, round and triangular. It really pays to look for items that you had no idea were available.

This is a great set of files for the price. I should be able to use them on everything from my plastic models to my N scale trains.

Awesome file set from Testors! Can't imagine building my models without them. Great price.

I wouldn't be able to scratch build without these babies.
