Glad to see these seldom-seen cruisers available
I was quite happy to see the New Orleans-class cruisers on the market, as there had not been that many US World War 2 cruisers available. This kit, like the other Trumpeter kits I've been building, went together fairly easy. The instructions are clear & detailed and the parts easily detach from the molds. There are some smaller parts such as life rafts, searchlights and some antiaircraft guns that need tweezers to place but nothing that they can't handle. This one is well worth getting!
Great Model
I liked how this kit went together, I am glad the Trumpeter has taken on the task of releasing ship classes such as the Colorado class battleships and the New Orleans class cruisers that have not been produced in plastic before, Now if only they will produce the New Mexico Class Battleships - USS Idaho, USS Mississippi and USS New Mexico.
