USMC MTVR Mechanic Geno Sanchez
Very content with this model. Prior US Marine Motor T and still MTVR Mechanic. I work on the real truck. Love how accurate they really made it. Many late nights working on this project, but the satisfaction of having it completed and showing it to my coworkers who also enjoy working on the real truck. Made everyone look twice. They were addicted to staring and comparing to the real truck. Not for impatient people, that’s for sure. More. Customers heading your way. Prime it flat black while on the racks, then added the testers flat sand color. Added a few minor detail only MTVRMechanics know, transmission dipstick and fill tube. Also purge valve scandal cane tube next to intake stack. Wish the turn lights were more pre-painted or of the right color and detailed. None rolling tires. Be nice if they can make a larger scale MTVR. Overall great model. Loved it. Got me hooked on modeling again.
Great kit
This kit was impressive. There was little to no flash on the parts, everything lined up and basically fell into place. The instructions were fairly easy to follow. Like all Trumpeter kits, there was a small photo etch fret supplied. Highly detailed and easy to put together. I would highly recommend this kit to any skill of modeler.
