Reviews : Trumpeter German SdKfz 7/2 Halftrack with Gun and Supply Trailer

This is a very detailed kit. If you are not an experienced military modeller, you will find this kit difficult to build. There are many, many parts. Lots are in the very small classification, especially if you have heavy fingers. There is a multitude of PE parts. Fortunately, in many instances they have included an alternate plastic part as well as an option. Most of the smaller PE parts I did not use. I have to say though, the PE screen parts fit perfectly and are easy to work with. The truck comes with real rubber tires, the trailer has plastic. The tracks are individual pieces ( lots ) and take a great deal of time to complete but look real nice if you have patience. There are no figures included which is a shame because the figures depicted in the box art would really go good for a diorama scene. The gun and trailer are pretty much straightforward. If you take care, the kit turns out to be pretty damned nice.

Got this for 2019 Xmas from my daughter. Didn't get around to it till middle of April. As a whole the kit was fun to build with just a few minor issues, which I point out in the photos. Again ended up not using half the pe parts as they are small and my fingers are not. Also a lot of them are in places you will not see so I leave them off. Another pet peeve of mine is why use pe parts when you just end up painting over them, don't see the point as they then look like plastic parts. As mentioned this kit is not for beginners unless they have help. And just noticed starting with my third sentence of this review they begin with an A word, nothing to do with the model just thought it was weird. If you have any modeling experience this is a good kit to get, will keep you busy for awhile.

Started this kit All I have to say is I really am really enjoying this! Extremely detailed, great value for the price, As I've read in other reviews' what drew me to this kit I love intricate kits that draw you into them whereas you want to research the real things in articles and photographs. Also as stated in other reviews This is NOT for beginners! PROS alot of small parts CONS slight flash and very minor fitment issues that challenge your Skills, But that's part of it afterall. Very satisfying, Photos On the way when completed!P.S.I don't order from anyone else than HOBBYLINC!

Highly recommend this model . Not for beginners . Outstanding detail and parts trees . This is one you will have to spend some many weekends on but absolutely worth it . I am still working on weathering and paint detail . AWESOME!

First Trumpeter kit and I was impressed. Not for a beginner as there are a ton of parts but it has tons of detail. Only complaint is that I only received three wheels and was unable to build the supply trailer.
