perfect for starters, even better for experient. A relaxing kit!
I must say this: this is the most boring kit I've ever done! Everything fits seamless in its place! almost no sanding nor filling needed! the detail on the cockpit is astonishing, it has photo etched parts, decals if you don't want to use paints, some parts were injected in the final colour... this is boring! its so perfect that it is boring to build it, as you don't need to cut anything to make it fit, no need to sand to remove the seam, no putty, nothing! no need for aftermarket parts to do extra details like the pitot tubes... This is one kit for you to enjoy in a retirement home, or during a long weekend where you want to sleep, build a litle. sleep a little more, build a little more... So perfect that it becomes... Boring! No strugles, no hassle, no nothing. just build, paint a litle (or prepaint before building... if you do so, you can finish this in less than 1 hour...), use cyano glue, put on shelf, and of to the next you go!
J20 Trumpeter
This was a good kit to build, not very sure how stealthy the real thing would be. It went together well. I did have a problem with the ejection seat fitting under the canopy. Saned the bottom of the seat to solve that issue. The plastic is molded in black, grey and white. There were black decals for the landing gear doors, white decals for the landing gear bays and metallic decals for the exhausts. I did not like the white ones for the bays and painted instead. I did not like the overall black and found the camouflage pictures of the J10 online. Balance is a bit precarious without any nose weight. A few BBs would have been nice. I had fun building this.
