Reviews : Trumpeter Soviet RF-8 Aerosan

While browsing through the available tank models, this item struck me as fairly interesting. Sort of a combination of a snow mobile and swamp boat. Trumpeter always seems to put out good quality kits, and this one is no exception. For something of rather simplistic design, the kit is nicely detailed, however it contains some fairly delicate parts, so caution is advised when separating them from the parts trees. For those more into the dioramic scene, the kit includes the 2-man crew figures in sitting position. Overall, the kit is of good quality and nicely detailed, and I would recommend it to others.

What a cool kit of something you don't see too often. This was my first Trumpeter kit and I'm pretty impressed. No flash and everything fit perfectly. My only gripe is with the figures, seem rather bulky but hey they have some heavy winter gear on to ride in the elements.

this is a really cool kit , of a very obscure russian ww2 armoured sled. as soon as i saw this kit i did some research on it and learned alot . and for the price i wish i had got 2 et a couple and have fun with it

Aloha, This is a neat replica of a rather primitive Soviet winter fighting vehicle. Simple, yet detailed , makes it a fun winter build. If you need a break from the routine, this kit fits the bill.
