this is indeed a fun, challenging kit. the hull on mine was vaguely warped which made mating the deck to the hull an adventure. tape and tamiya thin set cement whipped it into shape. the remainder went together by the numbers. Im modding mine into a vieynam era ATC (armored troop carrier) which retained the ramp. uparmored, added 2 more .50 cals, a 4.2 in morter in the well deck and an M40 106recoiless rifle starboard side. also added a mast w mast head light and flag halyards

An easy kit to build in it's WWII configuration. It can be a challenge to build a Vietnam era version because of the modifying of the front ramp. Parts needed very little cleaning and this one was a pleasure to build.

I normally or haven't built any types of model boats or shops but I really like this and I do plan on buying this.
