Reviews : Trumpeter USS Arizona BB-39 Battleship 1941

I purchased this model as a gift for a WWII Navy Vet and as such, he has a special place in his heart for the Arizona. He had no idea Trumpeter made models this large with this many pieces. He enjoys putting together the smaller scale models and is looking forward to the challenge of this one. At the young age of 92, he says putting models together exercises his mind and keeps it sharp. It also gives him an opportunity to express pride in his service and share his stories with his grandkids and great-grandkids. Who would have thought a box of plastic parts would bring about so much? Thank you to Hobbylinc for offering these models at a discounted price that allowed me to gift it to a member of the greatest generation.

This is the nicest model kit that I've ever bought. Great details very little flashing on the parts. Most models that I've bought are just pushed in a bag an stuffed in a box this one isn't it's boxes inside boxes. I've been studying the directions very clear straight forward only thing missing is the railing layout but it's not a big problem they show it on the painting diagram an it's not that difficult to understand. This is the kit if you want a big model of the USS ARIZONA it is a Museum quality kit. Money well spent.

This is a true museum quality build. Trumpeter does not fail when it comes to the large 1/200 scale ships.

Very accurate and detailed. Look very realistic just as she did on December 7th.

I loved it so much I am actually thinking about getting another.
